Yakiniku no Gyuta Honjin, Hong Kong 焼肉の牛太 本陣

3 hungry ladies were searching for a place for dinner around their hotel area as they only had soya bean curd and glutinous ricecake at Tai O for lunch!

After we returned back to our hotel at Novotel Nathan, I recommended Kam Shan Seafood restaurant, which serves nice seafood at affordable prices. When we reached London Plaza where the restaurant was located at, we decided to have Yakiniku instead, as we were tempted by the appetizing food pictures.

This Yakiniku restaurant originated from Osaka, Umeda where there is also one shop located there.

Each table has it's own air ventilator, which I think is good, as it keeps the restaurant smoke free, as well as my hair and clothes free of yakiniku smell.

We ordered a cobb salad as Ms V felt that it was more value for money compared to the caesar salad (the cobb salad has prawns and is a bigger portion). Good choice as it was a wonderful salad, and we finished it in a matter of minutes.

Next came the vegetables, with a variety of shitake, pumpkin, asparagus, carrots, brinjal, mushroom, corn and onions. The vegetables are a bit tricky to grill, as it will either get burnt, or uncooked.

Pork Neck

Here comes the Prime Beef Karubi! Super worth it at only HKD58

This is the beef Harami. Don't ask me which part it is...

Ms K and Ms V ordered the Yuzu sake. No there is nothing wrong with the picture. The glass comes like this, slanted to one side.

We didn't have our fill or meats, so we ordered another round of meats.

Another round of beef.

Pork Belly

Total bill came up to be HKD431 which was around SGD72 for 3 persons. I think the price is very affordable, considering the meats which we ordered. If you went after 10pm, the prices are 50% off selected meats - unbelievable!
